Bienvenidos and welcome to the newly refurbished CIPLC website. Whether you are a member of the CIPLC community, a teacher looking for an outstanding school in a fascinating country, or you are curious about our wonderful school, I invite you to explore our website and find out about the exceptional learning environment that we offer each and every day at CIPLC.
I have been part of the CIPLC community for four years and I have come to know our community well. We, the educators at CIPLC, understand how to best serve the needs of our students to prepare them for an ever-changing world. Our mission is to “Inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for learning and social responsibility while teaching critical thinking and effective communication skills”. Each and every day our dedicated, qualified and experienced professionals work with students to provide exciting learning and growth opportunities in pursuit of our mission. At CIPLC we are committed to maintaining this standard of excellence and fulfilling our vision to “Be the premier provider of internationally focused education in Latin America”. Of course, this is only possible with the high level of cooperation and support we receive from our CIPLC families.
The longitudinal achievement data we collect and analyze extensively indicate strong student growth in reading and math – well above the US national norms. Through our Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) structure we analyze all learning data and use it to make instructional decisions that will benefit the learning growth of all of our students. The Advanced Placement (AP) program continues to thrive despite the small number of students in our high school, and most seniors receive AP Scholar status by graduation. Also, our SAT scores continue to be in line with US averages even though the majority of our students are English Language Learners.
Enjoy your journey through our website and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like more information about our wonderful school.
