Process of Admissions

We hope you are enjoying your visit to the CIPLC website where you can find great information about our school. Prospective parents will also be interested in information about parent involvement at CIPLC.

We thank you for your interest in our school, and welcome you to the Admissions section of our website. Our admissions process is guided by an Admissions Policy that you can access by clicking here. We invite you to read it for detailed information.

For a brief description of our Admission Process, follow the number bullets below:

Colegio Internacional Puerto La Cruz (CIPLC) Admission Process:
  1. Click here (pre-application survey) to contact CIPLC Admissions to see if there is a seat available for your student(s).
  2. Upon notification from CIPLC about seat availability, pay the application fee. (This fee will provide the student with access to study/practice materials, and will be discounted from the initial registration fee for students who are offered admission)
  3. Then provide the following documentation:
    • CIPLC Admission Form (click to download)
    • CIPLC Health Form (click to download)
    • Recommendation Forms from previous school. Click to download, if applying for ECE – Grade 2 or for Grades 3-12.
    • Transcripts/Report Cards for the last three school years
    • Certificate/Diploma describing the level of English proficiency (if the student does not come from an English-based education system)
    • Parents’ and students’ identification documents (copies of passports or birth certificates, and Venezuelan cédulas, if available)
    • Immunization report(s)
    • Standardized test scores (most recent ones available)
  4. After receiving all of the above documents, the CIPLC Admissions committee will review the documents and decide whether or not to approve an admission assessment.
  5. If the committee approves your submission, your student(s) will need to take an entrance proficiency assessment at CIPLC, by appointment.
  6. Notification of admission process results.
